Very informative website. I have a query on habit number 1.

Is there a way to eliminate entry of tasks two times (one in notebook (moleskin) and another in to do list and context list)?
Do you carry moleskin and context list / to do list all the time?
Could you post of scan of typical pages on your moleskin and corresponding enteries on To do list?

Hey Leo,

Have you thought of selling ZTD as an ebook on iPhone? I don't know how long is your ebook, but I hate reading long pdfs on my computer. I COULD sync it to my iPhone and read it there, but the formatting would be very hard to make it worthwhile. And iPhone is a good market for GTDers, there are loads of GTD apps that are selling like hotcakes..

@Noah: I have the same problem man. I waste too much time on the internet. I always unplug my ethernet cable to avoid distractions when studying. If you need internet access for your work, consider using another browser that is clear of myspace/facebook bookmarks..

Hi,

I wanted to see what tips you have for somebody who is constantly on myspace, facebook and Twitter? I am on them for way to long throughout my day and I need to get things done.

Habit: a place for everything. All incoming stuff goes in your inbox. From there, it goes on your context lists and an action folder, or in a file in your filing system, in your outbox if you’re going to delegate it, or in the trash. Put things where they belong, right away, instead of piling them up to sort later. This keeps your desk clear so you can focus on your work. Don’t procrastinate — put things away.

Read the blog. Bought the eBook. Forgot about it and tried full-blown GTD instead. Now, after experiencing a complete organizational collapse I read the eBook, bought the Moleskine and have been happily productive ever since. Thanks Leo. ZTD is a life-saver.
