I only recently started taking the weekly review seriously. Now, if I'm out of the office or don't have a chance to do it, I feel really lost. I also write my accomplishments so I can keep track of what I've done, and write what I need to do the next week. My mind is totally empty of worry when I leave the office on Friday, and when I arrive on Monday, I have my week right there in my email. I wrote up some of this here.

Thank you for your advice. By applying the excellent advice on your site, I have already improved my productivity and improved my practice of GTD. I also found out about some interesting books I ordered from Amazon.

Planning is great, and GTD or ZTD is a good method. However, what I would like to read is advice about actually doing things and actually turning down distractions.

Planning is cool, but execution is where many people have a problem.

Hi Leo,

Always a good reminder to practice the Weekly Review. I try to see it as a habit in and of itself rather than a discipline (though I know that is needed too).

I find that Sunday afternoon or evening is my best time for the WR.

Keep up the good work, Mike
