I like the concept of having systems. It appeals to my inner grammarian, how it has a go-to procedure for errands and tasks that no one likes doing.
Except, there is another way to look at some of these things. Yes, ok, I don't like paying bills. But sometimes I like doing errands. And I always enjoy grocery shopping! Going food shopping is my way of transitioning from work to home sometimes. Other times, it is a way of getting myself out of a rut and out in the sunshine of the world. But I always use it as a field trip, because stores, in their own way, are like vast museums. And in order to find healthy, nutritious food for myself, I research a bit, explore a bit, and push the envelope a bit. It takes the tedium out of the 'chore.'
