I think learning should be connected to real life and to personal motivations, not being done in an isolated classroom following a rigid curriculum. I have always learned best when I really wanted to know something - in the past reading books, today more and more on the internet. And I wanted to know much. I think every child wants to learn and forgets that when learning is reduced to memorising stuff, which is (at that moment) not of any interest to the child. For me, this is the way I learned (and still learn) most and best, and I learned how to apply that skills, which is something that you often don't learn at school. Curriculums don't leave space for being creative. Yeah, creativity is something I would add to the list.
