You’ve tasted SEO and now you’re hurting the quality of your site by turning it into a fast and easy money making machine. It’s obvious you’re only posting things like this because you want hits/AdSense money. Make like StevePavlina.com and please stick to posting quality stuff — like you did before you discovered Digg.

@Qual: I’m sorry you feel that way. My goal is to post useful stuff on this site, every day, and if you don’t find it useful, perhaps you can make some suggestions to help me out. This post that you’re commenting on is just links to stuff I’ve done elsewhere, which are obviously aimed at different audiences than you guys. The stuff I write for this blog is a little different than stuff I write for other blogs. Would you rather I not share links to stuff I write elsewhere? I’m just trying to understand exactly how you’d like me to improve.

Leo,

I just dropped by to say that I loved both these articles! I also liked the way you made a new headline out of the 2 articles. When I first saw it, I thought Google might help me get some Zen going. :)

Keep up the spiffy work!
Andrew

I’m sorry if I came off as being an asshole. I was in a bad mood over something else. You should write a little about the articles, why you’re linking to them, or maybe post two different articles, and have external links at the bottom. I just don’t want to start seeing the site have posts with titles as big, or bigger than the body text.

Hi Qual … don’t worry about it. I appreciate constructive criticism, and if you guys have any suggestions for making the site better, I’m all for it. I hear your point and will take it into consideration. Don’t hesitate to put in your 2 cents about how to make the site better in the future!

Also Leo, don’t be too put out by unfair criticism or someone having a bad day and deciding to vent here. Your blogs are absolutely awesome and in the last 30 days of reading your posts you have made me at least twice as effective with my day (rising early, simplifying my life, implementing ZTD), and made my family much happier (by starting early I get my work done, don’t procrastinate and take a bad mood home, also implementing your parenting tips, and making sure time with family is an MIT each day). Your work is awesome so keep it up because you are really helping a lot of people. There will always be 2.5% at each end of the curve who aren’t happy.

Although I love the other sites you posted these on, I don’t always read check all of my other beloved sites, esp the high volume sites. But I do read zenhabits everyday (there’s a few topics that don’t interest me - like parenting - that I might not read), so when you post these links, I’m aware these articles are out there and I’ll read them, where otherwise I might have missed these. And, even though you might cover some of the same topics that are included in your other articles, part of what I like about this site is the inspiration it offers me, which is constantly refreshed.

@Georgio and Balfour — thank you guys for your wonderful comments. You don’t know how much they mean to me. Reading stuff like that always picks me up. :)

Georgio, I’m so glad if I’ve helped! And especially if I’ve made your family life a little better — that made my day. Good luck with your changes, and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
