Yea Don’t let yourself check the email or whatever reward works for you something that you need to do every day until you do at least 10 minutes (or 15 or 20, it doesn’t matter) on the task.

Great post as always Leo. Even I suffer from the same problem. I organize my todo list, begin the day on a positive note and somewhere down the line I lose motivation to complete the tasks. At most I get two to three tasks executed on my task list. My job is such that I get lot of adhoc work and get called to meetings that are scheduled on a short notice. Two or three interuptions make me lose track and I find it difficult to return back to my planned tasks. What do you think ( to all the readers) I should do to get rid of this habit? Any suggestions are welcome :)

very like this post
I never success with my to-do-list, just write it but only some list that finally done, that's why I often not write a to-do-list, just do everything on my mind

Best way to get something done is by breaking up tasks into smaller and easier steps. Then you have to think of your goal and why you want to accomplish these tasks in the first place. If you do not have a clear goal, you will find no reason to accomplish the tasks. But if you do have a goal you to want to reach, it makes accomplishing these tasks so much easier.

Initiating work to get done is the hardest part for me. Once i get my head down things work like clockwork, but it takes a great deal of effert on my part to do so. This method should hopefully help me slightly.
Thanks
