Leo, thank you for a great post! I am addicted to this site and love reading your posts and comments from the members.

As a 300 lb woman losing weight has always been a struggle. I have tried many diet fads, the WW program, starvation, and whatnot. The only thing that seems to slim down in my wallet, not me. The plan you present is much more practical and it is something I had started before I read this post. In October 2007 I was 330 lbs and last month (November 2008) I wieighed in for a dr. appt. and was 300 lbs. so I lost 30 lbs in a year but I didn&#039;t do anything drastic. I limited my consumption of soda, I drink more water, I use Splenda instead of sugar, and I do not eat much meat, I am actually going vegetarian now. So maybe 30lbs. is not muchbut it is a start!
