Purity can mean different things to different people. Nevertheless, it is certainly a concept worthy of discussion. I generally avoid absolutes, as human behavior is very complex.

I still like what I like and agree with what I agree with, which is the case, just as Albert says, with all humans. If others agree with me or not, it’s up to their “judgement”.

Ummm Jaxs: “Liked” is a judgement, “agree” is a judgement. The entire first sentence is pretty much a judgement. That’s okay, we make them all the time, we humans. But when someone takes on the task of judging for others, except in certain narrowly defined circumstances, it gets my hackles up.

Isn’t there something like “judge not, (‘others’ implied or at least inferred) lest ye be judged” in some book somewhere? I’m sure I read it a long time ago……..

This was a good post, something that I am encouraged to do on a regular basis. The word purity is a good choice of a word.

On to the negative comments. Listen, everyone has their way of writing. Humbling ourselves, even when we think (because this is the internet and you are only getting part of the picture) that the tips/advice given to us are being given harshly, is part of bettering ourselves. The message is the point and if we fail to miss the message because of our own ego then what have we attained from all of these life changing habits in the first place?

Great post. My first time coming to this blog, too.

On the lighter side, for a moment, the name Katherine also means purity, and all dirivitives of that name, like Karen. Is that hysterical? I think so, knowing myself.
