Интересно. Вообще чтение вашего блога это не просто глупое просматривание последних новостей или чтениевсякой фигни про то, чем человек сегодня занимался, а нахождение реально полезной информации.

Although several people mention it tangentially, vigorous exercise is critical. I'm not just talking about a pleasant walk or deep breathing (although that's better than nothing). I'm talking about intense cardio or serious resistance training (weightlifting). If you choose cardio, morning or mid-day are great. But you really want <a href="http://worldfitnessnetwork.com">build lean muscle</a>, go for weights or other resistance training. Especially helpful in the mornings, when the craving for caffeine is strongest. Not only does weight training invigorate you during the exercise itself, but studies show that muscle regrowth keeps your metabolism humming for far longer than cardio (some studies even show the benefits of each weight training session lasting 48 hrs afterwords). Plus, the more muscle mass you have, the higher your general metabolism. Seriously, if you want to kick caffeine, get serious about intense exercise.

I am surprised that caffeine is even legal. I have quite coffee, energy drinks, etc, The positive effects were noticeable within a few weeks! Not to mention the money it saves you on Coffee and/or energy drinks.

What about DHA to boost mental alertness/performance??? I personally have never been a much of a coffee drinker so I don't have the problem of "craving" it to stay awake. Neurovi (www.neurovi,com) sells a great product, Omega 3, that because it has higher levels of DHA gives your brain a boost without any negative side effects. Our brain is almost 70% fat so nourishing it with what it is composed of makes sense..right? BTW they are having a special right now if you use their code "gift of life" you get 12% off your order... can't beat that!

Andree Michel Says:

<i>"Does coffee prevent diabetes?

Coffee protects against diabetes a study from Finland shows. Researchers from the country with the highest coffee consumption world-wide examined more than 14,000 women and men. The result: Three to four cups lower the risk to get sick around scarcely 30 per cent, ten cups lower the danger for women even by 79 per cent, for men by 55 per cent."</i>

That study carries very little weight in the Diabetes community, in fact it has nothing to do with diabetes at all. As I stated months ago, coffee stimulates the production of sugar which gives you the energy boost.

Just stay away from caffeine as a boost.

Coffee and diabetes don't mix well.
