I don&#039;t think positve public pressure is for everyone.  I understand the concept but to me it seems to echo back, in a figurative sense to putting a person in stocks.  If you change your mind about a goal or just outright fail at it I suspect there will be those who will have their private or semi private moments of holding you in a place of riddicule or pity.  

I prefer a private build up of reasons and a private build up of anticipation of results and what those results will bring me.  I have succeded and failed on goals using both methods, I have succeded more often when I have created sufficent value for myself ahead of time for achievement then I am pulled toward the goal.  As opposed to positve public pressure where there is the sense of being whipped all the way.</description>
