Hi, Leo. I’m very excited to get the book! I received an Amazon gift certificate for the holidays and the first thing I did was pre-order - it’ll be here Saturday and I expect I’ll be reading all weekend.
Just in general, I want to thank you for your site. I found it about 6 months ago at a time when I was going through a lot of work and personal craziness and your personal calmness and thoughtful writing (and great guest writers) have helped steady me when things seemed to going badly askew.

The book is available in both audio and ebook format — several versions of each, actually. Amazon has both mp3 and CD audio versions and should have the Kindle version up soon.
This site has several ebook formats available: http://is.gd/eahC

Wait! You want me to celebrate “The Power of Less” by adding More to my library?
Does that mean the less really IS more?
What am I not seeing here??
Leo Says:
December 30th, 2008, 17:13 pm
@Kurt: Ha! Trust me, I see the irony, but for many people, what’s really needed is a place to start simplifying, and this book will help do that. So add one extra book to your library and get rid of piles of clutter — both in terms of possessions and tasks — that makes sense, doesn’t it?
If you’re already at the point where your life is extremely simplified, and you make the most of your time, achieve your goals, and fill your life with the things you’re passionate about … then no, you probably don’t need another book. :)

Is there any PDF or audibook version that I can buy online? I have just finished reading your Zen To Done PDF and I liked that I could buy it online. I live in Sweden and its a little troublesome to buy from e.g. Amazon (shipping cost, shipping time etc).
Swoop Says:

Hi Leo
I was wondering if the amazon.co.uk is available before feb 2009 ? Because on the site it says that the hardback wont be available untill then, however it is available on the US store.
I ask because i would like to buy the book, get it asap and of course take advantage of the great offer right now. But shipping from US to europe is … well customs add to the pricetag ;)
Anyhow if you have any info about it from UK (would hate to have to wait 2 months) please let me know :)
And thanks for the site! :D

Dear Leo,
Glad about this offer, but annoyed as in the UK it seems we cannot order the book via amazon. I am totally confused, and am not in a position to order from another store.
Wonder why this is - as the UK amazon site says the book’s not out until Feb!
Plus, would quite like to take advantage of your offer!
Swoop Says:

Leo told me the reason was a different publisher in the UK and that feb is their release date.

Congrats on the book Leo,
Last week I walked into a Barnes and Nobles store and on the very first display table by the door I saw your book. I swooped it up. I have been following your site for more than a year, seeing your book so exciting.
I finished a first read through of your book in two sittings. I loved it. I made it one of my MITs to visit your site and let you know that I will be reading your book again and again.

Math Alert!!
From the free ebook:
“Coffee. Do you buy a $4 cup of coffee every weekday? That’s $80 a month or $260 a year. And much more if you buy more than one cup, or buy a snack to go with it.”
$80 x 12 = $960
or
$4 x 5 x 52 = $1040

There’s good news and bad news, Leo. Today, there was a front page article in The Oklahoman which referenced your book, The Power of Less. I can supply a link if you wish to see it. The bad news is that the writer described you as a mother of six and she listed your website as http://www.zenhabits.com, which is somebody else’s website! As the writer works in my building, I have e-mailed her and told her you weren’t a mother of six but that you seemed to have a sense of humor!

Hi Leo
Congrats on the book.
=> Do you know if ther has there been a problem with publishing in Europe/the UK?
I see from the above posts that there is a different publisher on this side of the pond, but that it was due in February. I’ve had the book on pre-order with Amazon.Co.Uk since January, and they have already pushed delivery back once.
Any idea what has happened?
Cheers- Simon
