[...] Tim Ferriss talks with Zen Habits about fear in terms of phobias and guilt. Either you obsess and force, or you avoid and fear, when you’re scared. And the way to solve it is to just take a break. Diversify your identity. Remember that you are more than just one thing. Expect lows in your energy in some ways. And don’t feel guilty if you have to go to a Plan B because Plan A is too scary - you’re still getting it done. [...]

I love your site, Leo, and am a bit surprised that you associate with this hack. While Tim Ferriss has said things that are useful, I find him annoying and selfish. It's hard to take anything from from a person who is deliberately out to make life better for himself at the expense of others.

I would like to second the commenter who asked for tips from "regular" people. I don't want to hear from someone fake. I want to hear what real people (like you) do to manage their lives. I also want to hear from people who live life fully, and not just try to turn everything into an efficiency game.

I haven't read his book, mainly because I'm not a big fan of self help books. If it is self help then no one needs a book to figure out things, just some direction in general and I hardly find many books offer that.

I did find this interesting though: http://tinyurl.com/93q2go :)
