@Wojciech @ Fiscal Fizzle: It’s important to separate the list of possible things you can do and the things you are committed to doing. Otherwise it’ll be too overwhelming for you to constantly consider all possibilities every day. I use mindmaps only for brainstorming because it’s easier for me to deal with lists. But “Personal Growth Lists” doesn’t sound too fancy ;)

Before we look at how you can achieve balance, it’s important to know why you need to have balance in your life in the first place.

@Vi | Maximizing Utility: There's a greater problem than delayed happiness: forgetting what makes us happy. Without a regular dosage of happiness, we can easily fall into this trap. Problem is, I made this trap my second home! :P

@No Stress Work: The sad thing is we are given technical training (if that) to succeed in work, but we're never taught about the importance of how to see work as a part of life and not as the whole of life.

@A.Bernardine: timesvr.com looks like an interesting service. I'm gonna check it out to find out more! Thanks!

@Melvin: Thank you for your contribution.

@Nosayba: Thanks :) Obstacles are tricky things. They seem like massive boulders in our way, when they're really feathers we can puff away!

@Mikeachim: The PGM works really well with GTD. GTD is meant to deal with "runway level" tasks: *how* to get things done, whereas PGM is about *what* to get done in order to lead a balanced life. In other words, what kind of projects are you putting in your Projects List will be determined by the PGM, and how you go about accomplishing these projects through your Next Action Lists will be handled by GTD.
