Wishing you and your family a most fun trip! Just returned from Tokyo on Friday after spending a week there. My third trip to Japan over the last 9 years and I am in love with the country so much that I plan to move there. Such an incredible city filled with so much life. Enjoy!

P.S. Check out all the kit kat flavors! I sampled some crazy flavors and brought some others home to share with my family and friends :)

I hope you have a wonderful time. My wife and I lived in Japan for almost 4 years before moving to Canada. It's been almost 12 years since and my wife and I always dream to go back for vacation this time with my 2 kids. If I have to recommend you a place that you should visit, I have to say Okinawa for the beautiful beaches and the culture.
Anyways, have a safety trip and enjoy it!!

Have an excellent time! I went to Japan last year with my 15 yo daughter and am going back next year with both my kids. It's a beautiful country full of beautiful people and culture and food and everything! I'm going to Uni next year to do a Certificate in Japanese language so next time I visit, I'll do a bit better. Please come back with lots of stories :) Readers: please don't find this offensive, but I think it's funny. My kids call me Wasian - a Wannabe Asian. They both learn Japanese at school and find it lovingly amusing how much I've loved Japan since i've been :)

hi Leo, as I lived in Tokyo for a time, I KNOW that you and your lovely family will have a great time. Don´t let anyone who rambles about how horrid or un-zen Tokyo is, bother you - you know that attitude counts. there is Tokyo and there´s tokyo and there´s tokyo and...... :) no, really, it´s a fascinating place with much to discover for everybody in your family, I´m sure. oh, in case you haven´t seen panda bears live yet, make sure to take the kids to the zoo, they´ll so love them :) anyway, have a fantastic journey!

Awesome! I'm sure you'll have a zen-like experience there...Well, except for Tokyo where the pace is very fast! The only vivid memory I have is people pushing me in the subway station during the morning rush ;)

Have fun! Love the travel blog...
