About

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Aristotle

Zen Habits is about finding simplicity in the daily chaos of our lives. It’s about clearing the clutter so we can focus on what’s important, create something amazing, find happiness. It also happens to be one of the Top 100 blogs in the world, is uncopyrighted, and goes well with anything chocolate. Zen Habits features three powerful articles a week on: simplicity, health & fitness, motivation and inspiration, frugality, family life, happiness, goals, getting great things done, and living in the moment.

Leo

My name is Leo Babauta, and I’m the creator and writer here. I’m married with six kids(!), I live on Guam (but moving to S.F.), I’m a writer and a runner and a vegan. I like long walks on the beach (at least, the one time I tried it, except for the sandfleas) and read trashy novels (also some good ones). I also created mnmlist.com (on minimalism) and Write To Done (for writers and bloggers). I’m the author of a new best-selling book, The Power of Less: The Fine Art of Limiting Yourself to the Essential, in Business and in Life. Buy it here: Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Borders, or IndieBound.

If you just can’t get enough of reading about me, take a gander at my story, yell at me about why Zen Habits has the word “Zen” in the title, or if you’re new here, take the fantabulous guided tour: The Beginner’s Guide to Zen Habits (seriously, it’s good).

Please also subscribe for regular updates delivered to the inbox of your liking, or if you have some spare cash in your pocket, support Zen Habits. And, if that’s not enough, bring yourself on over to see one of the awesome books I recommend.

Of course, you can also get one of my books: The Power of Less | Zen To Done | The Simple Guide to a Minimalist Life | The Essential Motivation Handbook | Handbook for Life
